Description:
An inquiry into real world-based lighting along with the use of a chrome ball to integrate a CG model into a backplate. The first steps included taking multiple photos of different objects during varying lighting situations. After choosing a decent picture, the next step is to model a replica of the object to be integrated. Following is object and lighting placement based upon the use of a chrome ball, gray cube, and an object for scale. Finally are the many render layers needed to create reflections, shadows, and other necessary bits of information.
